Doodle Land is a gaming artifact from the old school RPG scene, a map collectively keyed on Google+. I have added random table to the 36 described locations and illustrated everything with doodles. My goal was to show that you can make a beautiful RPG zine with only doodles and some excellent layout.

The Doodle Land PDF is 50 pages, fully illustrated and feature navigation links.

I used Tunnel Goons for the zine but naturally it would be easy to use Doodle Land with other fantasy adventure games. But if you are looking for a whimsical setting to play Tunnel Goons, Doodle Land is a perfect fit for the game's vibes.

Doodle Goons rules & character creation (p. 8-9) based on Tunnel Goons by Nate Treme. Nate Treme is not directly affiliated with this project.

NOTE: if you contributed to the original jam on G+, contact me to get an eventual contributor copy.

SALE: the sale is to assemble funds to do a print run to send copies to different zine stores.

A whimsical point crawl that oozes vibes from the mishmash worlds of fantasy bedtime adventure stories from byegone eras, without the trashy sexism and racism usually found in them. The sites have reasonably concise evocative descriptions with wonderfully playable linkage between them which helps the referee further bring this vibrant world to life.

The file itself has been lovingly and patiently assembled with lots of useful hyperlinking including from the map to the site descriptions and between different related sites.

This game is dope. I'm trying to plan a session with my wife, her sister, and my daughter as her introduction to RPGs. Curious whether the treasure tables will be filled in or the intention is for me to finish them.

When I GM it, I improvise something, the goal is to give the players items to play with since the game use items to give +1 to rolls. :)

Wonderful work!

This is a wonderful Zine that embodies a certain kind of fantasy you don't often see, but which I love. A certain early seasons Adventure Time charm. Can't wait to get using this at my table!

This is absolutely great. It's gorgeous and has a lot of heart. The locations pack a ton of flavor into a small amount of prose and brief tables. Nice and rules light too

There are some RPG materials that make youexcited on the first page. This is one of them. That map alone will make your brain hum...and then you keep turning the pages.

Looking through this now and it rules. Great aesthetic, great writing. Really exciting book.
